What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Clean Your Dirty Face has the right to modify or discontinue the use of any mark. If it becomes advisable for Clean Your Dirty Face and/or the franchisee to modify or discontinue using any mark, or to use additional or substitute trade or service marks, the franchisee must comply with Clean Your Dirty Face's directions within a reasonable time after receiving notice.
However, Clean Your Dirty Face is not required to reimburse the franchisee for any costs, loss of revenue, or other expenses incurred while promoting a modified or substitute trademark or service mark. This means that if Clean Your Dirty Face decides to change its branding, franchisees will bear the financial burden of adapting to the new marks without compensation.
This is a significant consideration for prospective franchisees. While Clean Your Dirty Face retains the flexibility to update its brand, franchisees must be prepared to invest further in marketing and promotional materials to align with any changes. It is important for potential franchisees to factor in these potential future costs when evaluating the Clean Your Dirty Face franchise opportunity.
