What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Clean Your Dirty Face Franchise Disclosure Document, the consent agreement will be interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflicts of laws rules. This means that if there are any disputes about the meaning or application of the consent agreement, Georgia law will be used to resolve those disputes.

This is important for prospective Clean Your Dirty Face franchisees because the laws of Georgia will dictate how the agreement is understood and enforced. Franchisees should be aware of the key aspects of Georgia law that may affect their rights and obligations under the consent agreement. This includes understanding how Georgia courts interpret contracts, what remedies are available in case of a breach, and any specific regulations that may apply to franchise relationships.

It is common practice in franchising for agreements to specify a particular state's law to govern interpretation, as this provides clarity and predictability for both the franchisor and franchisee. Franchisees should consult with an attorney to understand the implications of the governing law provision and how it may affect their specific circumstances.
