2.E. COMPUTER SYSTEM.
You agree to obtain and use the computer hardware, sales and scheduling software, pointof-sale system and/or other operating software we specify from time to time (the "Computer System"). We may modify specifications for and components of the Computer System from time to time and you agree to implement our modifications within thirty (30) days after you receive notice from us. We might periodically require you to purchase, lease, and/or license new or modified computer hardware and/or software and to obtain service and support for the Computer System. Although we cannot estimate the future costs of the Computer System or required service or support, and although these costs might not be fully amortizable over this Agreement's remaining term, you agree to incur the costs of obtaining the computer hardware and software comprising the Computer System (and any additions and modifications) and required service or support.
You must obtain and install the Computer System, and ensure that the Computer System is functioning properly, before your Business opens.
You must pay for any proprietary software or technology that we, our affiliates or thirdparty designees license to you and for other maintenance and support services that we, our affiliates or third-party designees provide during this Agreement's term.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Computer System that franchisees are required to use includes computer hardware, sales and scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and other operating software as specified by Clean Your Dirty Face. Clean Your Dirty Face may modify the specifications and components of the Computer System, and franchisees must implement these changes within 30 days of receiving notice.
Clean Your Dirty Face may periodically require franchisees to purchase, lease, or license new or modified computer hardware and/or software, as well as obtain service and support for the Computer System. Franchisees are responsible for the costs associated with obtaining the computer hardware and software, including any additions, modifications, and required service or support, even if these costs cannot be fully amortized over the remaining term of the agreement.
Before opening their Clean Your Dirty Face business, franchisees must obtain and install the Computer System and ensure it is functioning properly. Franchisees are also responsible for paying for any proprietary software or technology licensed to them by Clean Your Dirty Face, its affiliates, or third-party designees, as well as for other maintenance and support services provided during the agreement's term. Clean Your Dirty Face or its affiliates may require franchisees to sign a license agreement to regulate the use of such software or technology.
