What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor determines the times and locations of the Training Program. The Training Program includes the Owner Training program, Skin Boss Training program, and the Receptionist Training program. The franchisor may also replace any portion of the in-person Training Program with virtual training via live or pre-recorded videos. The length and content of the Training Program is also determined by Clean Your Dirty Face, and may vary based on the experience and skill level of the individual(s) attending.
The scheduling of the Training Program is based on the franchisee's and Clean Your Dirty Face's availability, training facility availability and the CYDF Facial Bar's projected opening date. The Training Program will occur after the Franchise Agreement is signed, but before the CYDF Facial Bar opens for business, and is offered on an as-needed basis. If a franchisee (or their Operating Partner), or managers and/or assistant managers fail to satisfactorily complete the Training Program, Clean Your Dirty Face may require such individual to attend additional training at a time and location of their choice.
Clean Your Dirty Face may require franchisees (or their Operating Partner), and/or certain other managers and employees to attend various training courses, trade shows, ongoing education or certification programs, and/or webinars at the times and locations designated by them. Besides attending these training courses, programs and events, Clean Your Dirty Face may additionally require franchisees (or their Operating Partner) to attend a meeting of franchise owners at least once per year, held at locations they designate. However, any attendance at any additional training courses, programs or events, or any annual franchise owner meetings, will not be required for more than 5 days during a calendar year.
Prospective franchisees should note that they are responsible for all travel and living expenses (including, wages, transportation, food, lodging, and workers' compensation insurance) that they (or their Operating Partner) or any of their trainees incur during any and all meetings and/or training courses and programs. Franchisees are also responsible for the travel and living expenses and out-of-pocket costs Clean Your Dirty Face incurs in sending their trainer(s) to the franchisee's CYDF Facial Bar to conduct training, including food, lodging and transportation.
