What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must open their business for customers within 180 days after the Effective Date. The Effective Date is the date the Franchise Agreement is signed. The date the business first opens is referred to as the "Opening Date."

Clean Your Dirty Face requires continuous operation of the business according to the Franchise Agreement and System Standards from the Opening Date forward. This may include minimum business hours and/or days of operation. A franchisee cannot abandon the business, close it, or operate it for less than the specified minimums without prior written consent from Clean Your Dirty Face.

However, Clean Your Dirty Face can terminate the Franchise Agreement if the franchisee does not open their business within 365 days of the Effective Date. Therefore, while the franchisee is expected to open within 180 days, they have up to 365 days before Clean Your Dirty Face can terminate the agreement.
