What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Clean Your Dirty Face has the authority to modify or cease local advertising expenditure requirements. Specifically, Clean Your Dirty Face may, at any time and on one or more occasions, cease collecting all or part of the Local Advertising Expenditure. Clean Your Dirty Face can also change the proportion of the Local Advertising Expenditure that franchisees must pay to them or their designees.
This provision grants Clean Your Dirty Face significant flexibility in managing local advertising contributions. For a prospective franchisee, this means that the required local advertising expenditure, which ranges between 4% and 10% of gross sales per month, could be altered or even suspended by Clean Your Dirty Face. This could impact a franchisee's marketing strategies and budget, as they may need to adjust their advertising efforts based on Clean Your Dirty Face's decisions.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand that while they are initially required to spend a certain percentage of their gross sales on local advertising, Clean Your Dirty Face retains the right to modify or eliminate this requirement. Franchisees should discuss with Clean Your Dirty Face their long-term vision for local advertising and under what circumstances they might change the local advertising expenditure requirements.
