11. INSPECTIONS AND AUDITS.

11.A. OUR RIGHT TO INSPECT YOUR BUSINESS.

To determine whether you and your Business are complying with this Agreement and all System Standards, we and our designated agents or representatives may at all times and without prior notice to you: (1) inspect your Business; (2) photograph your Business and observe and videotape your Business's operation as we deem necessary; (3) monitor your Business using electronic surveillance or other means; (4) remove samples of any products and supplies; (5) interview your Business's personnel and customers; and (6) inspect and copy any books, records, and documents relating to your Business's operation. Additionally, we may conduct, or contract with third parties to conduct mystery shopper, customer survey or other market research testing and quality assurance inspections at your Business. You agree to cooperate with us fully during the course of these inspections and tests. If we exercise any of these rights, we will not interfere unreasonably with your Business's operation. We will not charge you a fee for our initial inspection visits or mystery shopping reviews. However, if you fail any inspection or mystery shopping review, or if we or our designated representatives were for any reason prevented from properly inspecting any or all of your Business (including because you or your personnel refused entry to the Premises), we will charge you our then-current fee for any subsequent inspection(s) we conduct to con

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Clean Your Dirty Face's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Clean Your Dirty Face has the right to inspect your business to ensure compliance with the Franchise Agreement and System Standards. These inspections can occur at any time and without prior notice.

Clean Your Dirty Face, or its agents, can take several actions during an inspection, including inspecting the business, photographing and videotaping operations, monitoring the business electronically, removing product and supply samples, interviewing personnel and customers, and inspecting and copying business records. Clean Your Dirty Face may also use mystery shoppers, customer surveys, and other market research to assess quality assurance. Franchisees are required to cooperate fully during these inspections.

While Clean Your Dirty Face will not charge a fee for initial inspection visits or mystery shopping reviews, franchisees may incur costs if they fail an inspection or prevent a proper inspection. In such cases, Clean Your Dirty Face will charge a $1,000 fee for subsequent inspections to confirm that deficiencies have been corrected. Additionally, the franchisee must reimburse Clean Your Dirty Face for actual costs and expenses, including travel and living expenses, related to these follow-up inspections.
