Under what conditions can City Wide revoke its approval of an item from an approved supplier?

If CITY WIDE approves the proposed supply or supplier, you will be permitted to purchase that supply or use that supplier in connection with your Franchised Business unless such approval is revoked. CITY WIDE reserves the right at its option, to re-inspect the facilities and products of any supplier of an approved item and to revoke its approval of any item which fails to continue to meet any of CITY WIDE's criteria.
CITY WIDE applies the following general criteria in designating a proposed supplier as an Approved Supplier:

- Ability to make the product to CITY WIDE quality specifications;

- Production and delivery capability;

- All such items must meet CITY WIDE'S Approved Suppliers standards; and

- Integrity of the supplier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide reserves the right to re-inspect the facilities and products of any supplier of an approved item. City Wide can revoke its approval of any item if it fails to continue to meet any of City Wide's criteria.
City Wide applies the following general criteria in designating a proposed supplier as an Approved Supplier: the supplier's ability to make the product to City Wide quality specifications; the supplier's production and delivery capability; all items must meet City Wide's Approved Suppliers standards; and the integrity of the supplier.
This means that even after a supplier and its products are initially approved, City Wide maintains ongoing oversight to ensure continued compliance with their standards. For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of using only approved suppliers and understanding that approvals can be withdrawn if a supplier's performance or product quality declines. Franchisees should stay informed of any changes to the Approved Suppliers List and Approved Supplies List, as City Wide may revise these lists from time to time at its sole and absolute right, promptly communicating any changes to franchisees.
