What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, upon the execution of the Business Development Agreement, City Wide initiates a process to provide business development services to the franchisee. This process includes several steps. First, the Business Development Center assigns a Business Development Specialist to the franchisee. Then, the franchisee provides information about their territory and goals to the specialist. If applicable, the Business Development Specialist undergoes five days of training. Access to the franchisee's CRM, Emfluence, and City Wide Social accounts are set up. Activities are then completed based on the package selected to set appointments or generate incoming leads with prospective clients. The prospect's information, along with the appointment date and time, are immediately provided to the franchisee. The franchisee or an assigned staff member attends the appointment with the prospect, and updates are provided by the franchisee back to the Business Development Specialist on whether the appointment resulted in a sold account.
This service aims to support franchisees in generating leads and securing new clients. However, City Wide does not guarantee specific results, such as a certain number of appointments, followers, or sales. The effectiveness of these services is enhanced through regular communication between the franchisee or their sales executive and the City Wide Business Development Center.
City Wide retains the right to change the Business Development Specialist assigned to the franchisee's account at any time, provided the services remain unchanged and uninterrupted. If the assigned specialist is unavailable, another specialist will cover the services, or the franchisee will not be billed for that time. The franchisee is responsible for indemnifying City Wide against any claims arising from City Wide's provision of services or any breach of the agreement by City Wide. Conversely, City Wide will indemnify the franchisee against certain expenses and damages.
