What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training schedule is not always in successive weeks. The franchisee and their salespersons must attend a training and familiarization course of approximately ten days. City Wide has the right to conduct this training over separate, non-successive weeks.
This means that a new City Wide franchisee should be prepared for a training schedule that is spread out, potentially requiring multiple trips to City Wide headquarters or another designated location. This could impact travel and lodging expenses, as the franchisee is responsible for covering these costs for themselves and their salespersons.
The flexibility in scheduling allows City Wide to accommodate more trainees and potentially tailor the training to specific needs or business cycles. However, for the franchisee, it introduces uncertainty and the potential for increased travel costs if the training is not consolidated into a single block of time. Franchisees should factor this potential variability into their business planning and budgeting.
