What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must apply to all appropriate government authorities for the permits, licenses, and approvals required to operate their franchise within their designated territory within 14 calendar days after signing the Franchise Agreement. These may include a general contractor's license.

Before opening their City Wide franchise, franchisees must provide City Wide with copies of all required permits and certifications for lawful operation. They must also furnish building inspection reports and certifications from governmental authorities, demonstrating that all necessary permits have been obtained and operational requirements have been met. City Wide must approve these documents.

Failure to secure the necessary permits and certifications or to provide them to City Wide for approval before commencing operations could be considered a default of the Franchise Agreement, potentially leading to termination. Therefore, prospective City Wide franchisees should prioritize understanding and fulfilling all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements for operating their specific business.
