What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for all expenses related to terminating, changing, and forwarding the City Wide Telephone Line. The Telephone Line consists of telephone numbers and related services that operate 24 hours a day and identify the number as being associated with City Wide. These Telephone Lines are the sole and exclusive property of City Wide.

This means that if a franchisee decides to terminate or change the Telephone Line for any reason, they must bear all associated costs. This includes expenses for the physical termination or modification of the line, as well as any forwarding services required. Furthermore, the franchisee irrevocably conveys, assigns, and transfers to City Wide all rights relative to the termination and/or changing of the Telephone Line should the franchise arrangement and/or relationship between the parties cease at any time for any reason.

This provision ensures that City Wide maintains control over its branding and communication channels, even in the event of a franchise termination. It also protects City Wide from incurring expenses related to changes or termination of the Telephone Line, placing the financial burden entirely on the franchisee. A prospective franchisee should consider these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment and operational expenses associated with a City Wide franchise.
