What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must lease a location that adheres to City Wide's guidelines, subject to their approval. While City Wide does not offer site selection assistance, the chosen location must meet the franchisor's standards. Item 12 of the FDD likely contains further details regarding location requirements.
To maintain quality and compliance, City Wide encourages franchisees to purchase or lease necessary items from approved manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. These items must conform to City Wide's current standards. The franchisor provides a list of Approved Suppliers and Approved Supplies, which may be updated periodically. City Wide may also designate certain suppliers as Required Suppliers, from whom franchisees must purchase specific items or services. Currently, ADP Payroll Services is a Required Supplier, and franchisees must use City Wide or its affiliate for Technology Systems and IT Services.
The Operating Manual may contain suggested or mandatory specifications, product lines, standards, operating procedures, and rules for locations. City Wide retains the right to modify the Operating Manual and the Approved Suppliers List and Approved Supplies List. Any changes to the system, operating manual, or supplier lists will be communicated to all franchisees. This ensures that franchisees maintain consistent standards and operational procedures across all City Wide locations.
