What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an existing franchisee who wants to engage City Wide for Business Development Center (BDC) Services must adhere to a specific process. The agreement between City Wide and the franchisee will commence on the date the services are set to begin, referred to as the "Effective Date," and will continue for a period of six months, unless terminated earlier as per the agreement's terms. This six-month period is termed the "Existing Franchisee Initial Term."

Upon the execution of the agreement for BDC services, City Wide initiates a structured process. First, the Business Development Center assigns a Business Development Specialist to the franchisee. Following this assignment, the franchisee is required to provide comprehensive information regarding their territory and business goals to the assigned Business Development Specialist. If applicable, the Business Development Specialist then undergoes a five-day training period to prepare them for assisting the franchisee effectively.

This structured approach ensures that existing City Wide franchisees receive targeted support from a dedicated specialist who is well-informed about their specific territory and objectives. The initial six-month term allows both parties to assess the effectiveness of the BDC services and make any necessary adjustments. The franchisee's responsibility to provide accurate and detailed information is crucial for the Business Development Specialist to deliver relevant and impactful support, ultimately aiding in the prospecting and development of local City Wide clientele.
