What does the City Wide Operating Manual include?

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Operating Manual contains reasonable and mandatory specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules prescribed by City Wide for the Franchised Business. It also includes information relative to the franchisee's obligations under the Franchise Agreement and the operation of the Franchised Business. Franchisees must comply with all requirements in the Operating Manual and other written policies that City Wide provides.

The standards, specifications, operating procedures, and rules that City Wide prescribes in the Operating Manual or otherwise communicates in writing constitute provisions of the Franchise Agreement. These standards protect City Wide's interests in its system and marks, but do not establish control over matters reserved to the franchisee. Failure to comply with the requirements in the Franchise Agreement concerning quality and performance constitutes a material breach and cause for termination of the agreement.

Furthermore, all products and goods sold, licensed, or leased by or through City Wide to the franchisee will be sold, licensed, or leased in accordance with the terms expressly set forth in the Operating Manual or as otherwise provided for in writing by City Wide or the manufacturer of such products and goods. Franchisees are also expected to understand City Wide's conceptual plans as outlined in the Operating Manual.
