Franchisee acknowledges and agrees that any evaluation or inspection conducted by CITY WIDE under this section is not intended to exercise, and does not constitute, control over Franchisee's day-to-day operation of the Franchised Business or to assume any responsibility for Franchisee's obligations under this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any evaluation or inspection conducted by City Wide is not intended to exercise control over the franchisee's day-to-day operations. City Wide will provide on-site assistance and supervision from time to time, as it deems advisable.

City Wide may conduct evaluations of the franchised business at the office and customer sites, as well as evaluations of services rendered and personnel employed by the franchisee. City Wide also has the right to enter and inspect the franchisee's location at all reasonable times to observe operations and inspect equipment, merchandise, reports, and documents to ensure the franchised business is being operated according to City Wide's quality control and performance standards.

City Wide may offer advice concerning operating problems, new techniques, and administrative methods disclosed by reports or inspections. However, City Wide will not assume responsibility or liability to the franchisee or any third party through these approvals, advice, or services.

While City Wide provides support and sets standards, the franchisee is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the business. The franchisee must also live year-round and full-time in the designated territory.
