What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to submit a local advertising report to City Wide on a quarterly basis. Specifically, the report must be delivered no later than fifteen days after the end of each of the franchisee's fiscal quarters.
This report should detail the local advertising funds the franchisee spent during the preceding quarter. Furthermore, City Wide requires that the franchisee include supporting materials along with the report, as deemed necessary by City Wide. The report must be submitted on a form approved by City Wide.
This reporting requirement ensures that City Wide has oversight regarding how franchisees are utilizing local advertising funds and allows them to monitor compliance with brand standards and marketing strategies. It also enables City Wide to assess the effectiveness of local advertising efforts and provide guidance or adjustments as needed. Franchisees should maintain detailed records of their advertising expenditures and be prepared to provide supporting documentation to City Wide upon request.
