What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide establishes directory listings on relevant outlets like Yelp, Bing Yellow Pages, and the Better Business Bureau on behalf of the franchisee. This is funded through the Marketing Fund, which franchisees contribute to as outlined in Section 3.7.2(a). The purpose of these listings is to promote and increase demand for the products and services offered by the franchisee and other franchisees within the City Wide system within the Designated Territory.

It is the franchisee's responsibility to notify City Wide if their physical address changes so that these listings can be updated accordingly. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with amending any already established listings. This means that while City Wide initially sets up the listings, the franchisee will bear the expense of updating them if changes are needed beyond address updates.

City Wide also has the right to review and approve or disapprove all promotional and advertising materials before the franchisee uses them. They must do so within seven days of receiving the materials. If City Wide does not respond within that timeframe, the franchisee's proposed materials are considered disapproved. City Wide may also provide local advertising and marketing materials to the franchisee at a cost equal to their cost plus ten percent.
