What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide is not obligated to provide individual training to a franchisee's managers, outside sales persons, or quality control persons. However, City Wide will require and provide training to these personnel to the extent that City Wide can accommodate them in its regularly scheduled training course. This training is provided at no cost to the franchisee.
However, if City Wide does provide individual training, the franchisee is responsible for paying the franchisor Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day per person for such training. This is in addition to any expenses the franchisee's trainees incur to attend the training.
City Wide may also require that experienced franchisees, their managers, and/or designated employees attend and successfully complete refresher training programs or seminars. The franchisee is solely responsible for the expenses associated with these refresher training programs or seminars. Attendance at these programs will not be required at more than two programs in any calendar year and will not exceed four calendar days in duration during any calendar year.
