What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 City Wide Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a monthly National Technology Development Fee of $1,864. This fee covers the costs associated with the franchisee's participation in City Wide's design, development, testing, and deployment of technology capabilities used in the operation of the franchised business.
In addition to the National Technology Development Fee, City Wide franchisees are also required to pay an Information Technology Services Fee. For the first 36 months of the agreement, this fee is currently $120 per month, but may be higher depending on the level of services the franchisee elects. This fee does not include the cost of any hardware or software.
These technology-related fees are part of the recurring fees that City Wide franchisees must pay throughout the term of their agreement. These fees, along with Royalty Fees and Marketing Fees, are typically paid via ACH electronic withdrawal on or before the 10th day of each month.
