What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their salespersons must attend and successfully complete a training and familiarization course. This course is approximately ten days long but is held over separate, non-successive weeks. The training takes place at City Wide headquarters, in the franchisee's designated territory, or at another location designated by City Wide, including remotely. City Wide retains the right to conduct the training in non-successive weeks.
The training program covers material aspects of operating the franchised business. This includes various topics to equip the franchisee with the knowledge and skills needed to manage their City Wide franchise effectively.
Prospective franchisees should note that the ten-day duration is an approximation, and the actual length may vary. Additionally, franchisees are responsible for all travel, lodging, and other expenses incurred by the trainees during both the initial and subsequent training programs. This could represent a significant upfront investment in addition to the franchise fee and other startup costs.
