How will City Wide make changes to the Operating Manual available to the franchisee?

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide may modify the Operating Manual from time to time, and these changes will be available to the franchisee electronically. The Operating Manual contains mandatory specifications, standards, operating procedures, and rules prescribed by City Wide for the Franchised Business. It also includes information relative to the franchisee's obligations under the Franchise Agreement and the operation of the franchised business.

The franchisee must adhere to the specifications and standards set forth in the Operating Manual, as any failure to do so, and not curing the breach within thirty (30) days of receiving written notice from City Wide, constitutes a material breach of the Franchise Agreement, potentially leading to termination. The franchisee is also prohibited from duplicating the City Wide System and Software and will not disclose any part of the City Wide System or Operating Manual.

The Operating Manual remains the sole property of City Wide, and upon termination of the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must cease using any electronic versions and destroy any printed copies. The franchisee agrees not to disclose, duplicate, or use any portion of the Operating Manual in an unauthorized manner, both during and after the term of the agreement. Given the importance of the operating manual, prospective franchisees should ensure they have a clear understanding of how they will be notified of updates and changes.
