What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to subscribe to the City Wide monthly technology development program. The FDD specifies that franchisees will subscribe to this program, which is outlined in Item 11.

In addition to the monthly technology development program, franchisees must acquire and maintain a license per user for the City Wide financial reporting and budgeting platform, the City Wide Bid Module, specified business intelligence and reporting software, and operations platform software programs. These licenses and the technology program are to be obtained directly from City Wide and used in the franchisee's office.

The purpose of these technology requirements is to ensure that franchisees establish and maintain a bookkeeping, accounting, and record-keeping system that conforms to City Wide's standards, which may be periodically revised. Franchisees are also required to submit periodic reports, forms, and records as specified in the Franchise Agreement or the Operating Manual, and all required reports must be generated by these mandated software programs. Furthermore, franchisees will need to purchase additional software programs for use in their franchise office as recommended by City Wide.
