What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must meet several requirements before opening their franchised business. The franchisee must comply with all of City Wide's pre-opening standards and specifications. This involves securing all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals from the appropriate government authorities to legally operate the business within the designated territory. These applications must be submitted within fourteen calendar days after the franchise agreement is executed.
Specifically, the franchisee needs to furnish City Wide with copies of all required permits and certifications for approval before commencing operations. This includes building inspection reports and certifications from governmental bodies, confirming that all operational requirements and necessary permits have been secured.
Furthermore, the franchisee must commence operation of the Franchised Business not later than one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the execution and acceptance of the Franchise Agreement. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the termination of the agreement by City Wide.
