What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the equipment estimate of $5,000 to $16,000 does not include freight or unique design alterations. The estimate also excludes alterations requested by the franchisee or those required due to an unusual configuration of the site.

The FDD specifies that franchisees can either purchase or lease approved equipment brands and models from approved suppliers. While franchisees are not required to purchase equipment from City Wide or any specific source, all equipment must meet City Wide's standards and specifications and receive their approval. Local ordinances may also cause variances in required equipment, which could affect the total price.

Prospective franchisees should consider these exclusions when budgeting for their initial investment. It is important to factor in potential additional costs for freight, customized designs, or any site-specific modifications. Contacting approved suppliers and obtaining detailed quotes will help in accurately estimating these expenses.

The FDD also lists the equipment necessary for operating a City Wide franchise office in its confidential Operating Manual. This manual will provide further details on the types of equipment needed and the standards that must be met.
