What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide determines the duration, curriculum, and location of its National Meetings. These meetings include an annual convention and may include additional conferences or training sessions. The location of these meetings may be virtual.
Attendance at the annual convention is mandatory for franchisees. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to attending these meetings, including transportation, lodging, meals, and wages. Failure to attend the annual convention results in a $2,000 non-attendance fee, though this fee may increase based on the venue, level of attendance, speakers, and duration of the National Meeting.
City Wide retains the discretion to prohibit a franchisee from attending a National Meeting, such as if the franchisee is in default of the franchise agreement. In such cases, the non-attendance fee is waived. This policy ensures City Wide maintains control over the content, logistics, and participation in its National Meetings, while also setting clear expectations for franchisee attendance and associated costs.
