What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Wide reserves the right to modify or discontinue the National Business Development Program at any time. City Wide will communicate these changes to franchisees through written notice. The details of the National Business Development Program are specified in the Operating Manual and other written communications from City Wide.
This means that while City Wide has the option to establish and maintain the National Business Development Program, it is not obligated to do so. This program focuses on attracting and servicing clients with a regional or national presence. As a franchisee, it is crucial to stay informed of any written notices from City Wide regarding changes to this program, as it could impact your business operations and client relationships.
The Operating Manual serves as a key resource for understanding the specifics of the National Business Development Program. Franchisees should regularly consult the manual and any additional written communications from City Wide to remain up-to-date on program details, modifications, or potential discontinuation. This proactive approach will help franchisees adapt to any changes and maintain compliance with City Wide's policies.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that City Wide retains the flexibility to alter or end the National Business Development Program. While this provides City Wide with agility in responding to market conditions, it also introduces a degree of uncertainty for franchisees who may rely on the program for client acquisition and service. Therefore, franchisees should carefully consider this aspect and factor it into their business planning and risk assessment.
