What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the annual convention and any additional conferences or training sessions are collectively called "National Meetings." City Wide determines the duration, curriculum, and location of these National Meetings, which may be virtual.

Prospective franchisees should note that attendance at the annual convention is mandatory. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to attending these meetings, including transportation, lodging, meals, and wages. Failure to attend the annual convention results in a $2,000 non-attendance fee, although this fee may be increased depending on the venue, level of attendance, speakers, and duration of the National Meeting.

However, City Wide may prevent a franchisee from attending a National Meeting if the franchisee is in default of the franchise agreement. In such cases, the non-attendance fee is waived. The decision to allow or disallow a franchisee's attendance is at City Wide's sole discretion. This policy highlights the importance of maintaining compliance with the franchise agreement to fully participate in City Wide's training and networking opportunities.
