What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Wide's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, besides the financial performance representation mentioned, City Wide does not make any other financial performance representations. However, City Wide may provide the actual records of an existing outlet if you are purchasing one. The document also states that City Wide does not authorize employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing.

It's important for a prospective franchisee to rely only on the financial performance representations included in Item 19 of the FDD or the records of an existing outlet being purchased. Any other financial performance information or projections should be reported to City Wide's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This is to protect potential franchisees from misleading or unsubstantiated claims.

City Wide provides average gross sales figures for 2023 and 2024 in Table No. 1. For 2023, 85 franchisees met the Average Gross Sales Reporting Criteria, while in 2024, 93 franchisees met the criteria. The FDD also includes tables (Table No. 2 through Table No. 5) that present financial performance data broken down by quartiles, offering a more detailed view of potential revenue, monthly gross sales, net royalties, and costs. These tables include data about annual gross sales, independent labor costs, and gross margins as a percentage of gross sales for franchisees in each quartile for the 2023 and 2024 fiscal years.

The financial performance data is derived from sales records and reports submitted by franchisees using City Wide's required accounting software. While City Wide believes the data is accurate, it has not been audited or independently verified. Prospective franchisees should carefully review all financial performance representations in Item 19 and consider them in light of their own business experience and local market conditions. It is also advisable to seek professional financial advice before making any investment decisions.
