What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 City Wide Franchise Disclosure Document, several agreements are included as attachments. Attachment A-1 is the Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations, while Attachment A-2 is the Spousal Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations. Attachment E consists of the Confidentiality Agreement, and Attachment F is the Non-Compete Agreement.
These attachments are legally binding documents that a prospective franchisee should carefully review. The Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations ensures that the franchisee will meet the financial and operational obligations outlined in the franchise agreement. The Spousal Guaranty extends these obligations to the franchisee's spouse, if applicable.
The Confidentiality Agreement protects City Wide's proprietary information and trade secrets, preventing franchisees from disclosing sensitive business data. The Non-Compete Agreement restricts franchisees from engaging in similar businesses during and after the franchise term, within a specified geographic area.
