What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Publications may require franchisees to attend refresher training programs or seminars periodically. Franchisees are responsible for covering all expenses associated with attending these programs. However, City Publications will not require attendance at more than two such programs, nor will the programs exceed two days in any calendar year.

In addition to these potential refresher courses, City Publications also provides ongoing training during the franchisee's first full year of operations, costing the franchisee $500 each month. After the first year, City Publications will make various refresher virtual training seminars available.

Mandatory attendance at designated training and training updates is required for all training, mentoring, and coaching modules. This ensures that franchisees stay updated with the latest practices and standards set by City Publications. This ongoing support and the potential requirement to attend refresher programs highlight City Publications' commitment to ensuring franchisees remain knowledgeable and capable in operating their franchise.
