What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the print advertising franchise model, featuring a booklet of advertisements, is offered to both current and new franchisees. Existing City Publications franchisees are not required to pay an additional franchise fee or sign an additional franchise agreement to offer this new booklet product within their current territory.
For new franchisees, the initial franchise fee for the print advertising model is $29,000, and they must sign a franchise agreement. This new product is being introduced, in part, to expand into smaller towns and territories. City Publications and its affiliate will handle the graphic design, printing, and mailing of the booklet for a fee, similar to the traditional card deck model.
This dual offering strategy allows City Publications to expand its market reach while providing existing franchisees with an additional revenue stream without incurring extra fees. New franchisees benefit from a structured system, while both groups rely on City Publications for key operational aspects like design and mailing.
