What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire is designed to determine if any unauthorized, untrue, inaccurate, or misleading statements or promises were made to the prospective franchisee. The document emphasizes the importance of providing honest and complete responses to each question in the questionnaire. This questionnaire is part of the process of entering into a Franchise Agreement with City Publications.
City Publications uses this questionnaire to ensure transparency and accuracy in the information provided to potential franchisees during the franchise sales process. By requiring franchisees to disclose any unauthorized promises or misrepresentations, City Publications aims to prevent misunderstandings and disputes that could arise later in the franchise relationship. This process helps protect both the franchisee and the franchisor by clarifying the terms and expectations of the franchise agreement.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review and answer all questions in the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire to the best of their ability. Providing thorough and honest responses is crucial, as it can impact the franchisee's rights and obligations under the franchise agreement. If a franchisee is unsure about any question, they should seek clarification from City Publications or consult with an attorney before completing the questionnaire. This step ensures that the franchisee is fully informed and aware of their commitments before entering into the franchise agreement.
