What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, City Publications will periodically provide advertising and promotional materials for franchisee use. These materials include ad-slicks, brochures, fliers, and other materials.
Unlike some franchise systems that mandate franchisee contributions to a central advertising fund, City Publications does not have a required advertising program. However, City Publications may choose to arrange cooperative advertising in the future. Franchisees can also elect to establish cooperative advertising with other franchisees in their area, but participation is optional.
City Publications maintains a website, and will also establish a website for each franchise with a link to the main site. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining their individual websites. City Publications retains the sole right to market on the Internet, including the use of websites, domain names, URLs, linking, meta-tags, marketing, auction sites, e-commerce, and co-branding arrangements. Franchisees may be required to provide content for City Publications' internet marketing efforts and must adhere to the company's internet usage rules and policies.
