According to City Publications's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for paying the print tax where applicable. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for paying sales taxes, use taxes, and similar taxes imposed on fees payable under the Franchise Agreement and for goods or services furnished by City Publications, unless it is an income tax assessed on City Publications for doing business in the state where the franchise is located.

City Publications franchisees must purchase all printed media materials, including Card Decks, from a printer designated by City Publications. The agreement and related pricing may be adjusted for changes and circumstances beyond the printer's control. City Publications will extend to the franchisee the full benefit of any warranty issued by the printer of the card decks. The franchisee's only claim and remedy with respect to any claimed printing defect shall be to the extent of such warranty, and City Publications shall have no further liability.
