What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are permitted to operate their franchised business from their homes or any other location, provided they comply with zoning and local ordinances. City Publications does not require an approved location and does not select the franchisee's site.

After signing the Franchise Agreement, it typically takes about 3 months to open the Franchised Business, but franchisees must be operational within 6 months. The ability to use a home office, if desired, and completion of the initial training program are factors that can affect the start of operations.

This flexibility offers a potential cost-saving benefit to franchisees, as it eliminates the need to lease commercial office space. However, franchisees should carefully consider whether a home office environment is suitable for their business needs and compliant with local regulations.
