What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire does require the franchisee to confirm they have reviewed the Franchise Agreement. Specifically, the questionnaire asks whether the franchisee has received and personally reviewed the City Publications Franchise Agreement and each exhibit attached to it.
Additionally, the questionnaire asks if the franchisee understands all of the information contained in the Franchise Agreement and its exhibits. If the franchisee answers "No", they are prompted to specify which parts of the Franchise Agreement they do not understand, with space provided to attach additional pages if needed.
This requirement ensures that prospective City Publications franchisees are aware of the terms and conditions they are agreeing to before entering into the franchise agreement. It also provides an opportunity for franchisees to identify any areas of the agreement they find unclear or confusing, allowing them to seek clarification before signing.
