What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 City Publications Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit G introduces the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire. This questionnaire is designed to identify any unauthorized, untrue, inaccurate, or misleading statements or promises made to the prospective franchisee during the franchise sales process.
The document explicitly states that prospective franchisees must carefully review each question in the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire and provide honest and complete responses. This requirement ensures that City Publications has an accurate understanding of the information the franchisee received, helping to prevent misunderstandings or disputes later on.
By requiring honest and complete responses, City Publications aims to maintain transparency and integrity in its franchise operations. This process protects both the franchisee and the franchisor by clarifying expectations and ensuring that all parties are aligned on the terms and conditions of the franchise agreement. This is a standard practice in franchising, promoting a fair and informed decision-making process for potential franchisees.
