What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, operational and administrative support for scheduling is included as part of the Royalty Fee. Specifically, the Royalty Fee covers support for scheduling and coordinating production and services, including Graphic/Marketing Services, Card Deck production and distribution, and Appointment Services.
The FDD also mentions that Franchisee must utilize Franchisor's Mailing List for the distribution of Card Decks. For each use of Franchisor's Mailing List, Franchisee shall pay to Franchisor a stated fee as designated in the Manual. Payment shall be made at the time and in the manner as stated in the Manual. Franchisee must comply with Franchisor's terms, restrictions, and policies regarding the usage of the Mailing List as stated in the Manual. Franchisee-requested enhancements will be charged separately and in addition to the Mailing List Rental Fee.
While the FDD mentions that the specifics of scheduling and mailing list usage are detailed in the manual, it does not provide the exact procedures for requesting a schedule. A prospective franchisee should ask City Publications for a copy of the operations manual to understand the exact steps for requesting a schedule and using the mailing list.
