What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, existing franchisees have the opportunity to offer a new booklet product within their existing territory. City Publications is introducing a print advertising franchise model featuring a booklet of advertisements, as opposed to the traditional deck of individual card advertisements. This new offering is available to both current and new franchisees.

For existing City Publications franchisees, there is no additional franchise fee or requirement to sign an additional franchise agreement to offer the booklet product. This allows current franchisees to expand their service offerings without incurring extra costs or legal obligations. The FDD specifies that existing franchisees can offer the booklet product anywhere within their already established territory.

This represents a potential benefit for current franchisees, as they can leverage their existing market presence and customer relationships to introduce the new booklet product. It also allows City Publications to expand the reach of the booklet product more quickly by utilizing its existing network of franchisees. New franchisees, however, would pay an initial franchise fee of $29,000 and sign a franchise agreement.
