What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for the expenses incurred when attending refresher training programs or seminars. While City Publications may periodically require franchisees to attend these programs, the franchisee must cover all associated costs.

City Publications can mandate attendance at a maximum of two refresher training programs or seminars per calendar year, with each program lasting no more than two days. This means a franchisee should budget for travel, lodging, and other related expenses to comply with City Publications' requirements.

This arrangement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisees often bear the cost of ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and new developments. Prospective City Publications franchisees should factor these potential expenses into their financial planning.
