Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We have one Affiliate, City Publications Service, Inc. (the "Affiliate"). Our Affiliate shares our offices at 1300 Parkwood Circle SE, Suite 100, Atlanta, Georgia 30339. Our Affiliate provides marketing, and design services and mailing list services to our franchisees, in addition to its other marketing activities unrelated to the franchise system. No affiliate or predecessor has previously offered franchises in this or any other line of business. Our Affiliate, or another entity with similar ownership, may in the future offer a license for an advertising business that would feature coupon booklets or some other coupon format, but not the loose card decks offered through this Disclosure Document, and not using any of the proprietary marks licensed in your Franchise Agreement. Those businesses might operate within the area we license to you under your Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to City Publications' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the affiliate, City Publications Service, Inc., shares the same office as the franchisor. The address for both is 1300 Parkwood Circle SE, Suite 100, Atlanta, Georgia 30339. This co-location may facilitate closer coordination between the franchisor and its affiliate, which provides marketing, design, and mailing list services to City Publications franchisees.

The affiliate's services are not limited to supporting franchisees; it also engages in other marketing activities unrelated to the franchise system. Furthermore, the FDD indicates that the affiliate, or another entity with similar ownership, might offer licenses for advertising businesses featuring coupon booklets or other coupon formats, which could potentially operate within a franchisee's licensed area, but would not use the same proprietary marks or offer loose card decks.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that they may face competition from the affiliate's licensees or affiliate-owned businesses offering similar services. This competitive landscape is an important factor to consider when evaluating the potential market and revenue opportunities for a City Publications franchise. Understanding the scope and nature of the affiliate's activities, as well as any potential future offerings, is crucial for assessing the overall business environment.
