What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Circle K's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Circle K has the right to use all photographs and videotapes of the store for purposes it deems appropriate. These purposes include, but are not limited to, use in training, advertising, marketing, promotional materials, public relations, and/or litigation.

This means that as a Circle K franchisee, you must allow Circle K to take photos and videos of your store. Circle K can then use these visuals in various ways to promote the brand or for internal training. You, as the franchisee, will not receive any compensation for Circle K's use of these photographs or videotapes.

This is a fairly standard clause in franchise agreements, as it allows the franchisor to maintain brand consistency and utilize real-world examples in their marketing and training efforts. However, franchisees should be aware that they relinquish control over how their store's image is used and will not be compensated for it.
