What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Circle K's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Circle K will periodically inspect your Branded Business. The purpose of these inspections is to determine whether you are operating and maintaining the business as required by the Branding Agreement.
These inspections are part of Circle K's continuing obligations during the operation of your franchised Branded Business. It is important to note that these inspections are not intended to exercise control over the day-to-day operations of your Circle K store or to assume responsibility for your obligations under the Branding Agreement.
Circle K also conducts periodic site inspections for Motor Fuel Businesses to ensure operations and maintenance align with the Motor Fuel Agreement. Similarly, Circle K may enter a convenience store to inspect compliance with the Convenience Store Franchise Agreement and audit records with 48 hours prior written notice. These inspections are a standard practice in franchising, allowing Circle K to ensure brand consistency and adherence to operational standards across all franchised locations.
