What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Circle K's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Network Fee is payable monthly on the 25th day of each month. This payment must be made via electronic funds transfer. As of the disclosure document's date, the Network Fee is $50 per month, but Circle K has the right to modify this fee with 30 days' advance written notice. Any increase is capped at 20% within a 12-month period.
This fee is associated with the Credit Network Agreement, which franchisees must sign if they do not offer fuel for sale or if they enter into a Motor Fuel Agreement or Branding Agreement with Circle K. The Credit Network Agreement provides franchisees with a debit/credit network to process card transactions.
In addition to the Network Fee, franchisees are responsible for debit/credit card processing fees and/or service (transaction) fees. These fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice, with increases limited to 20% in any 12-month period. Circle K reserves the right to replace the TMC Network with a substitute network and charge fees for its use.
