What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinnabon has the authority to direct all advertising programs and promotions using the Ad Fund. This includes sole control over creative concepts, materials, and media. Cinnabon may use the Ad Fund to cover the costs of administering advertising and promotional programs.

Specifically, Cinnabon can use the Ad Fund for various activities related to advertising and promotion, including working with creative talent. This indicates that Cinnabon has the discretion to allocate funds from the Ad Fund to compensate or collaborate with individuals or agencies that provide creative services for marketing purposes.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that a portion of the mandatory advertising fees they contribute could be used to hire creative talent to develop marketing campaigns and materials for the Cinnabon system. However, franchisees have no direct control over these decisions, as Cinnabon retains sole authority over the Ad Fund's usage.
