What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Comprehensive Support Fee payments can be suspended under specific conditions related to temporary closures. If a Cinnabon franchised business is temporarily closed, and this closure is determined and approved by the company, the payment of Comprehensive Support Fees will be suspended.
This suspension begins on the Payment Date of the first full month following the start of the closure, as determined and approved by Cinnabon. Payments are then reinstated on the Payment Date of the first full month following the end of the closure, again subject to Cinnabon's determination and approval.
However, Cinnabon reserves the right to reinstate these payments during the closure period if the franchisee requests and Cinnabon provides Support Services during that time. It is the franchisee's responsibility to notify Cinnabon of any temporary closure and to receive the franchisor's approval for it.
