What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is opening their first or second Cinnabon franchise (including franchises owned by affiliates), Cinnabon will send representatives to the franchise location for on-site training at no cost to the franchisee.
Specifically, Cinnabon will cover the expenses for their representatives to provide a minimum of two days of on-site training. This training is scheduled to occur concurrently with the beginning of operations of the new Cinnabon franchise. This on-site support aims to assist the franchisee in the initial opening phase of their bakery.
However, if the franchisee offers Carvel products at their Cinnabon location, they must pay Cinnabon the then-current Carvel Product Platform Training Fee. In this case, Cinnabon representatives will provide two days of on-site training related to the Carvel product platform.
