What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before Cinnabon approves a supplier, the supplier must demonstrate several capabilities. First, the supplier must prove they can provide items or services that meet Cinnabon's standards, including those related to artwork and text on the items. Second, if the supplier gains access to Cinnabon's confidential information, trade secrets, or logos, they must sign a confidentiality agreement or Cinnabon's standard license agreement.

Additionally, the supplier must show they are in good standing within the business community, particularly regarding their financial stability and the reliability of their products or services. Finally, the supplier is required to sign all agreements that Cinnabon requires its suppliers to sign at that time.

This approval process ensures that Cinnabon franchisees receive quality products and services from reputable suppliers who protect Cinnabon's brand and confidential information. It also allows Cinnabon to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. Franchisees must use only approved suppliers and products, and Cinnabon retains the right to revoke approval if a supplier fails to meet the brand's current criteria.
