What responsibilities do the Managers of a Cinnabon Bakery have?

You must have at least two managers that are dedicated to your Bakery. Your Managers must have day-to-day management responsibility for your Bakery, exercise on-premises supervision, and personally participate in the direct operation of the Bakery. Your Managers may be (but are not required to be) an Owner. Your Managers must complete the Management Training Program to our satisfaction. You must inform us in writing of the identity of your Managers and any successor Managers.
If you operate four or more Bakeries, we may require you to hire one or more additional Managers to serve as a Director of Operations to provide additional support and supervision to multiple Bakeries. Your Directors of Operations must meet any minimum standards for such position and must complete the Management Training Program and any other training programs that we specify to our satisfaction.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must appoint at least two managers dedicated to their Cinnabon bakery. These managers are required to have day-to-day management responsibility for the bakery. This includes on-premises supervision and active participation in the direct operation of the Cinnabon location.
These managers may, but are not required to be, an owner of the franchise. Cinnabon requires franchisees to inform them in writing of the identities of their managers and any successor managers. All managers must complete Cinnabon's Management Training Program to the company's satisfaction.
If a Cinnabon franchisee operates four or more bakeries, Cinnabon may require them to hire one or more additional managers to serve as a Director of Operations.
